Passage Parisien … part 2 : Tanya Heath discusses creative disruptive innovation

Two weeks ago I introduced Passage Parisien, the new fair concept dedicated to fashion trade that is inviting international buyers attending Paris fashion shows to visit showrooms in a different way. Discussing recently with fashion editors, bloggers and young entrepreneurs in the fashion industry I got the confirmation that I was not the only one to be somehow fed up with the big organisations. It seems that the new community of small shows such as Project or Capsule are gaining serious credit for bringing fresh air in the industry. Passage Parisien is in its first edition. Serge Bensimon is at the origin of this new concept and with other fashion designers and shop owners in Paris 10th district they imagined this new show. Here we talk with Tanya Heath the founder of her own brand of shoes, an innovative solution that enables women to change the height and style of their heels … Tanya Heath and I met a few years ago while both attending a general course on women entrepreneurship with Novancia Business School. More than an accomplished business manager she is a gifted innovator. In June 2011, Concept Footwear Solutions, the company that owns the Tanya Heath brand, became one the two finalists of the BFM Academy’s 7th edition.
